Savant Books Announces the Release of David Allan Williams' Novel, "Light Surfer"

Savant Books and Publications LLC, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, announces the release of David Allan Williams' new super-science fiction novel, "Light Surfer."

2012-11-18
HONOLULU, HI, November 18, 2012 (Press-News.org) In "Light Surfer," Tony Jess's psychiatrist, Dr. Baird, believes Tony to be schizophrenic, but governments think differently. Diagnosed as an autistic savant since childhood, Tony possesses otherworldly knowledge and has created a virus that could destroy the world's economic and social systems as we know it. And his threat to use it is real.

Originating from a small, dilapidated suburb west of Sydney, Australia, David Allan Williams tried his hand at many things before turning his intellect to writing. His professional career as a technical trainer and specialist in computer hardware took him to some of the best parts of America, Asia, and Europe before he decided life should be more challenging. He then turned his hand to warehouse and operations management for a few years before feeling like life needed yet another bend to put him on the right path. "Light Surfer" festered in his head and computer for a couple of years, until finishing and publishing the work became a "strap-me-in-and-let-gravity-take-control" kind of ride. Writing has now become his career path of choice, and with his slanted view of reality, this, indeed, should prove a long ride.

"Writing Light Surfer was an intense way of telling a story to friends," says Williams. "Putting it out there for the public to enjoy is a pleasure I plan to repeat again."

"Light Surfer" by David Allan Williams - 346 pages - 5.25" x 8" Pocketbook - Color Softcover. ISBN 978-0-9852506-0-7. Suggested retail price $16.95. Released in November 2012 by Savant Books and Publications, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
