Dr. James Wilson Receives Physician Quality Award From Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women

MEMPHIS, TN, December 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. James Wilson, a partner with the practice of Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecological Association, PC (MOGA), has been named as a 2012 Physician Quality Champion by Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women.

Dr. Wilson was elected for this award by hospital staff members and administration for outstanding collaboration and quality care.

Anita Vaughn, RN, Administrator and CEO of Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, stated that Dr. Wilson came highly recommended by various members of the staff. Nominations included statements such as:
• Dr. Wilson is always great to his patients and the staff.
• Dr. Wilson is always nice when you call him and is patient while you give him report. He comes to see his patients promptly.
• Dr. Wilson is always available and approachable. He listens when we call him and asks our opinion. He is great to work with.

Wilson is a native Memphian who has practiced with MOGA since 1994. He also worked in a smaller private practice for four years prior. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and his medical degree from East Tennessee State University.

In his spare time, Dr. Wilson enjoys golfing, fishing, and taking family vacations with his wife, son, and daughter.
