ERIE, PA, December 06, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. Shawn Casella, Erie dentist, and his associates are excited to be utilizing social media to improve their online communication with their patients. The practice is now maintaining a Facebook page, Twitter account and a practice blog.
"I am happy that we are able to use social media to talk with our patients online. I know that many of our patients use these services on a daily basis and I am glad that our practice is now a part of that. I encourage all of our patients to 'like' our practice and follow our Twitter account," said Dr. Casella, Erie family dentist.
Dr. Casella and the staff at Modern Dental Group are using the Facebook account to post updates on the practice as well as helpful links to other useful dental information on the Internet. The page is also used to post links to blog posts on the practice's website. Patients that 'like' the page are able to post comments or questions on the page. Someone from the practice will generally be able to respond to these shortly following a post.
The Twitter account will be run in much the same manner, with practice updates and blog posts being featured heavily. Patients can follow the account at @DrDavidDeMarco.
To schedule an appointment with any of the dentists at Modern Dental Group for dental whitening in Erie or another service, patients can either call (814) 456-0710 or use the online appointment request form. To do this, patients just need to enter in the date, time and a few words detailing the nature of their appointment into the online form. Shortly after this, the practice's scheduling coordinator will follow up with a confirmation of the appointment.
