ROCKFORD, IL, December 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. James Randol Stovall, dentist in Rockford, has been using social media to interact with his patients on the Internet. Dr. Stovall's practice is maintaining a Facebook page and Twitter account.

"I am very happy that we are now using social media to promote our practice and communicate with our patients online. I know that many of our patients use these services on a daily basis and I think it's a great way to use the web to stay in touch with our patients. I hope all of our patients will take a few minutes to 'like' us on Facebook and follow our Twitter page," said Dr. Stovall, cosmetic dentist in Rockford.

Dr. Stovall and his staff are using the Facebook page to post updates on the practice as well as helpful links to content on the Internet related to dentistry. In addition, any current specials that the practice is running will also be detailed on the Facebook page. Patients that "like" the page are able to post a question or comment on the page. Shortly after, someone from the staff will be able to post a response.

The practice's Twitter account is also run in a similar way. Patients who follow the account will get updates on the practice and links to content. Any blog posts that are written on Dr. Stovall's site will be linked. Patients can follow the account at @FCDental.
