WILTON MANORS, FL, December 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) Sidelines Sports Bar announced in August 2012 that it would be moving from its current location on Wilton Drive in Wilton Manors after six years in business to a new and larger location located at 2104 Oakland Park Boulevard, where the former "Jib Room" was once located. The new location will be open for business in the early part of Winter 2013 once renovations are complete.
As your drive by the new location on Oakland Park from the outside it doesn't look like much is going on. However, if you stepped inside your impression would surely change. The owner and managers are hard at work building out the various rooms that will soon be the future home of Sideline Sports Bar including a brand new kitchen, a full service restaurant that will be open for lunch, dinner and late night pleasures, a private event space, and of course the state of the art sports bar which will include flat screen TVs, pool tables, dart boards, Wi-Fi access, Buzztime Trivia, Texas Hold 'Em Poker, and other video games for your enjoyment, and so much more.
Without giving away too many secrets, the acquisition of the new Sidelines Sports Bar, garners a total of 6,000 square feet of space, nearly double its current location. This expanded space will allow Sidelines to offer its customers new and unique choices, private parties, special events and larger room for more games to be watched.
"I am so excited that we are moving to a bigger and better location," comments Laurie Whittaker, owner of Sidelines Sports Bar. "Sidelines will always maintain the fun and 'Cheers-like' environment you've come to enjoy; only now, we will be able to give our customers even more reasons to visit and hang out."
For six years, Sidelines has made a success of the gay sports bar brand and its loyal patrons and out-of-town customers have enjoyed the fun and friendly atmosphere, excellent customer service, attention to cleanliness, and comfortable ambience provided by the current location. They will strive to bring all that you love about the current Sidelines to the new Sidelines Sports Bar.
