Vamos Spanish Academy Launches Inspiring Videos That Make You Laugh, Think and Learn Spanish

Vamos Spanish Academy, a language school in Buenos Aires, innovatively uses comedy production to uniquely promote awareness of the power and practicality of learning Spanish.

2010-08-21
BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA, August 21, 2010 (Press-News.org) A distinctive method of drawing attention to the power and practicality of learning Spanish is being put into action by Vamos Spanish Academy. Innovatively, awareness is being spread through a trilogy of short, witty video clips that underline the essentialness of understanding the growing language of Spanish, as they follow the comical misdemeanors of a bumbling, linguistically-challenged character.

In a world where knowledge is power and language is the key, the promotion of language education is very important for any truly developed and knowledge dependent society. By searching of new ways to get people interested in learning Spanish but also in a bid to highlight how useful the possession of a new language can be, the school took the unusual road of full scale comedy production. The creator of the videos said she was inspired by the 'the numerous humorous lost in translation scenarios" common in the evermore multicultural and multilingual world in which we live.

From stuttering and missing out on getting the pretty girl to creating some sexual orientation confusion, the clever script summarizes all the feelings and problems that any bilingual person has been through. Aptly titled 'Wish You Knew How to Speak Spanish?', the clips have set the scene for the influx of more ideas and anecdotes concerning those all too common fumbles through the language barrier. The entertaining clips can be found on YouTube, through searching the above title or their channel name 'Vamospanish'.

Vamos Spanish Academy is an all-rounded Spanish school in Buenos Aires that offers customized intensive group and private classes. The school also provides classes tailored to suiting the varying needs of those traveling and working in Buenos Aires, from Spanish crash courses to afternoon courses for busy expats. It's well located in Palermo, one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in Buenos Aires flooded with hip restaurants and shopping; and, it's just two blocks away from the nearest subway station, making it the perfect place to learn Spanish in Buenos Aires, experience the city, and meet other travelers. Last but not least, it runs many eco-friendly and give-back initiatives where students can easily participate.
