Lakewood Ranch Community Fund of the Manatee Community Foundation Awards $2500 to SMART
SMART (Sarasota Manatee Association for Riding Therapy) is pleased to announce that they have received a $ 2,500 grant from the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund of the Manatee Community Foundation.

SMART (Sarasota Manatee Association for Riding Therapy) is pleased to announce that they have received a $ 2,500 grant from the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund of the Manatee Community Foundation. The grant will be used to provide therapeutic riding sessions to children that reside in the Lakewood Ranch community."Support like this is so important to our program and to the families we serve", said Nick Drizos, President of SMART. "These funds will allow us to get more kids off of our waiting list and into the saddle so they can reap the benefits of therapeutic riding. We are incredibly grateful to the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund for their ongoing support of our program and for caring about the work we do."
SMART, an all volunteer organization, provides therapeutic horseback riding, carriage driving and equine assisted activities for individuals with disabilities.
