SOUTH PORTLAND, ME, August 21, 2010 (Press-News.org) Commercial builders Great Falls Construction has just completed building the second of two new Johnny Rockets burger stands in southern Maine.
"The Original Hamburger," chain was originally opened in Los Angeles 25 years ago and is now serving up burgers in the Maine Mall food court and in Freeport Village Station.
In the Maine Mall location, the Great Falls team did a complete demolition of the previous establishment for the installation of the new Johnny Rockets. All of the re-plumbing, electrical and mechanical fixtures were reworked to set up the new cooking equipment specifically required for Johnny Rockets. The new restaurant also required a steel column to be moved 15 feet to create more space and seating for customers.
In Freeport Village Station, the Great Falls team provided the entire fit-up process to install the full service Johnny Rockets restaurant package. "We managed all facets of the construction project to bring Johnny Rockets to Maine on time and within budget" said Aaron Bourassa, project manager for Great Falls Construction.
Every Johnny Rockets hosts an all - American look and feel with table top jukeboxes, authentic decor, hand - pressed hamburgers, American fries, hand dipped shakes and malts and flavored soda pop.
