Stone Mountain Dentist Uses Social Media to Reach Out to Patients

Dr. Jawanna Wilkins is happy to be using Facebook and Twitter to communicate online with her patients.

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA, December 19, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. Jawanna Wilkins, dentist from Stone Mountain, is excited to be jumping into the world of social media with her practice's Facebook and Twitter accounts. She will hopes the accounts will help to promote her practice online and allow for easier online communication with her patients.

"I am very excited that our practice is using Facebook and Twitter. I know that many of our patients use these services on a daily basis and I am glad that our practice is becoming accessible on these mediums. I hope that all of our patients will take a few minutes to 'like' us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter," said Dr. Wilkins, Stone Mountain, GA dentist.

Dr. Wilkins and her staff are using the Facebook account to post updates on the practice as well as links to helpful dental content on the web. Any specials that are running at the practice will also be posted on the Facebook page. Patients that 'like' the page will be able to post questions and comments on the page. Shortly after this, someone from the practice will be able to respond to the comment.

The Twitter account will be used in a similar way to the Facebook page. Updates on the practice as well as links to blog posts produced on the website will be featured on the Twitter account. Patients are encouraged to follow the practice at @JawannaWilkins.
