WATERFORD, IRELAND, December 22, 2012 (Press-News.org) Winterval festival has hit the oldest city in Ireland in style. The first of its kind in Ireland, Winterval is proving to be a huge success for all, not only the natives of Waterford but for the whole of Ireland, with people travelling to make the most of this winter wonderland for the festive season. Winterval Started on the 30th November and will run up until 23rd December.

Chug past the Winterval attractions; the Giant Postbox and Carousel, the Giant Christmas Tree, The Bishop's Palace, Theatre Royal, Santa's Grotto, Reginald's Tower, Winterval Christmas Market, the Animal Farm, Viking Yule and the Polish Christmas Village.
Santas Grotto: Santa loves Winterval and this year he's going to be in the atmospheric 13th century Medieval Museum Meet the charming Mrs Claus with her mischievous elves and enter the magical winter garden.
Waterford Illuminates: You know that excited feeling you get when you're seeing something really special and unique? This December, make sure you and your loved ones are standing in Cathedral Square to experience Waterford Illuminates, the spectacular 3D light and sound show.
