AMDETUR was established on July 13, 1987 after seeing a continuous and rapid growth of the tourism development in Mexico and recognizing the need to have a single common entity that would work cooperatively with the public authorities and the private business sector in Mexico. Since its establishment, AMDETUR has been dedicated to bringing together investors, developers and various suppliers of the tourism products to support and promote development in the vacation ownership industry.
