DUBLIN, IRELAND, December 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) 2013 is set to be the set to be one the strongest years yet for Irish tourism. Managing Director of Mahon Enterprises Ltd. Darren Mahon comments "The new plans will see visitor numbers to the island of Ireland increase by 5% to 7.6 million in 2013, contributing EUR3.7 billion (+6%) to the economies, north and south. This is a huge rise in number over a 1 year period and will drastically improve small businesses"

Mahon Enterprises Ltd, a Dublin based sales and marketing firm reveals that the 3 year tourism plan named "Make Ireland Jump Out" being launched in America is reportedly aiming to increase the number of American visitors by 20% between 2013 and 2015. Darren comments "With this new plan but into action, it can only be a positive outcome for Ireland. Hopefully then future plans will keep the tourism percentages on the increase".

Darren Mahon adds "The growth in tourism is great news for Irish companies. Aer lingus are expecting to see growth of 20% in sales this summer. For Irish businesses it is a great chance to increase sales and profits. As a business owner it is important to find a way to attract tourists to your business. In 2012, 3.51 billion was generated in revenue and it is estimated to rise by 5% in 2013.

Mahon Enterprises Ltd. reports that Tourism Ireland aims to welcome almost 2.5 million European visitors in 2013 which is a 4.4 percent increase from 2012.

Darren Mahon has commented that he is in support of plans made by Minister of transport Leo Varadkar when he said "Tourism is central to Government plans for economic recovery. Shortly after the election we brought in a range of measures to support the sector, including a special tourism VAT rate of 9pc. Next year, Ireland will host the biggest single tourism event ever held in Ireland."

Darren comments "Driving economic regeneration is the main aim in the tourism boost. Generating more business for owners will hopefully be successful in offering more employment for Ireland and more business especially for small businesses which is at least something to help get the country back on track"
