NASHVILLE, TN, December 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) It is this idea of leadership held by firms such as G2 Marketing, that help propel growth in our markets. "Ultimately being a leader is not just what we want out of our company, but what we strive to instill in our people," - states Grant Gulledge Owner and Director of Marketing at G2 Marketing. "Opportunity is merely empty chance if not filled by those willing to lead."
For recent college graduates, hopes are dashed and dreams deferred as they struggle to kick off a career a midst the storm we call the economy. Understanding that the addition of jobs will give impetus to the economy, G2 Marketing recently announced that they will offer several internships to qualifying college graduates to help them gain hands on experience in the marketing and promotional advertising field. Not only will they familiarize themselves with the various approaches to marketing and know how, but also interns will learn skills applicable to every career they may pursue in the future.
G2 Marketing will present several college graduates with the opportunity to be a part of an exciting and energetic environment and see firsthandG2 Marketing's unique grassroots approach to marketing—the same method that has garnered them the number one home improvement company in the world as a client within a two-year period. Interns will learn how to represent G2 Marketing's continually growing client list on a daily basis, and they will get a proper dose of what it means to be apart of a successful promotional marketing company. In the past two years, G2 Marketing has been inundated with resumes from college graduates. G2 Marketing's hiring managers make it a point to meet with all applicants, however only a small number will be selected from that large pool of candidates. "These are recent college grads--we understand they may not have much experience, so we look for people skills. In marketing, it's all about excellent people skills. Add to that an amazing work ethic, attitude, and leadership potential, and you've got our perfect candidate," states Grant Gulledge.
As a company, G2 Marketing, is aiming to capitalize on opportunities given to them on an everyday basis, but they also want to take full advantage of the larger chances they have, to grow as a company. "We like to instill opportunistic and leadership values in our employees from entry-level all the way up to management, that's our philosophy," states Grant Gulledge. It is refreshing that in a time such as this, that companies such as G2 Marketing, are taking bold chances and instilling their employees with self-motivating ideals. "I have learned a lot about our business and marketing in my short time here at G2 Marketing," says Daniel Korpi - Account Manager at G2 Marketing. "It's a great experience, and a great company, and I am grateful for the opportunity that has been given to me for advancement." Korpi states.
As the after effects of our nation's fiscal cliff loom and hesitant companies sit and wait, it is refreshing to know that firms such as G2 Marketing are pushing forward in our economy. Hopefully, it will be companies who display this type of leadership that will propel the new work force of today into a bright and prosperous future. In our current economic state, it appears that boldness will be the order of the day.
G2 Marketing is a promotional marketing company that provides client acquisition services for a wide range of home improvement clients. For more information please contact us at 615-710-0185.
