LONDON, ENGLAND, January 01, 2013 (Press-News.org) Egress Software Technologies have recently announced that they have signed up to exhibit at Infosecurity Europe from 23-25th April 2013, this will be the first time Egress will be exhibiting at the event.
Infosecurity Europe is the number one information security event in Europe. There will be over 350 different exhibitors at the three-day event, which takes place at Earls Court, London. The event is set to top the 2012 event, with more exhibitors signed up, in 2012 12,450 unique visitors attended the event, with 1,168 coming from overseas - demonstrating the popularity of the event across Europe.
Egress specialise in providing businesses with email and file encryption software. Egress will be using the event to showcase their email security product, Switch. Egress' secure email service and file encryption software will be being demonstrated on the stand so visitors can fully appreciate the simplicity of the product for the user.
Email security and file encryption is a major concern to many businesses and it is not something that will ever go away with the rise in fines from the Information Commissioners Office. Egress ran a survey in conjunction with SC Magazine in June 2012, the results of which can be seen on this infographic. This survey demonstrated further the importance of email security to businesses with 94.5% of the respondents saying that data security is often overlooked when sharing confidential information with third parties because it is too complicated for the sender and the recipient. Egress are hoping to run a similar survey at the event to find out the opinions of the visitors and how they currently view security.
