Hill, Chesson & Woody Names Joshua King Underwriting Risk Analyst

New Hire Responsible For Claims Tracking And Renewal Analyses

CHAPEL HILL, NC, January 04, 2013 (Press-News.org) Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW) (http://www.hcwbenefits.com), a health and welfare benefits brokerage and consulting firm that designs, manages and implements employee benefit programs, has announced that the firm has named Joshua King as the company's underwriting risk analyst. In this position, King will be responsible for guiding clients and staff in claims tracking and renewal analyses to keep clients informed on their progress periodically and help set expectations for the upcoming renewal.

Prior to joining HCW, King served as an underwriter for Seibels Insurance Technology & Services. While there, he was responsible for examining documents to determine the degree of risk and evaluate the possibility of losses as well as communicating with licensed producers and customer representatives to obtain additional information, explain company underwriting policies or negotiate underwriting decisions.

King received his Bachelor of Science in mathematics with a minor in risk management and insurance from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
