TAMPA, FL, October 19, 2010 (Press-News.org) The recently-launched www.HirePatriotsFL.com job board for veterans is gaining traction as businesses are posting employment opportunities. The unique job assistance portal helps military members, veterans and their families find job opportunities throughout the state of Florida.
With the new website now operational, sponsors are focused on spreading the word to Florida veterans to frequently check the job board. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to continue posting jobs to the site. These postings help veterans, their families and the community.
"We are excited that Florida businesses are answering the call to help our veterans and posting employment opportunities on HirePatriotsFL.com. We are already seeing a mix of one-day, part-time and full-time employment positions for military members, veterans and their families," said Brian Butler, President of Vistra Communications, local sponsor of Hire Patriots Florida. "Because we believe this program has so much potential to help veterans in Florida find jobs, we have decided to launch a site in Georgia as well." The Hire Patriots Georgia website will be active soon. Hire Patriots Florida and Hire Patriots Georgia are part of the national HirePatriots.com network.
For the past 6 years, Hire Patriots has provided assistance to thousands of military members, veterans and their families through helping them find employment opportunities. Launched in San Diego, CA, Hire Patriots is quickly spreading across the United States partnering with local businesses to provide opportunities for those who are serving and have served our nation in uniform. This program has been hugely successful. HirePatriotsFL.com is off to a great start and is bringing those same successes to Veterans and their families in Florida.
A Florida native and Army veteran, Butler is convinced that Hire Patriots Florida and Hire Patriots Georgia will play a key role in providing assistance to thousands of military members and veterans in this region of the country. Through the HirePatriotsFL.com job opportunities portal, local citizens can post one-Day jobs for work they need done around their homes or small businesses. Florida companies can post full and part-time employment opportunities.
