San Antonio Granite Countertop Company Uses Innovative Technology to Educate Consumers

Fox Granite has redesigned their website to leverage innovative technologies that help educate granite consumers.

2013-01-06
SAN ANTONIO, TX, January 06, 2013 (Press-News.org) Known in San Antonio and Austin as one of the top innovative companies in the granite business, Fox Granite once again sets the bar for all other companies to follow. "It's not enough to just install quality granite countertops; rather, it is imperative to provide our clients with the most efficient and customer friendly experience in the business," says Greg Fox -owner. It's with great pleasure that Fox announces the launch of its fully redesigned website on January 15th. As technology has taken the granite industry into a new era, Fox acknowledges that most customers shopping for granite are starting their process on its website. Thus, the importance of providing consumers with quality information about granite in a video and multimedia format is increasingly crucial.

The genesis of the new website is the customer experience. Today's world is all about pictures and videos from Facebook and Instagram to Youtube. To properly educate granite purchasers, Fox has to evolve and communicate its information and message through this preferred medium. There is very little text that's unattached from pictures, graphics and videos on the new site. Some of the most useful features include a service map showing all the surrounding areas Fox travels to. Another completely innovative feature is the "Meet Our Team" page. Fox wants its customers to get to know its staff/crew, thus it showcases video of all its team members. Transparency and education is the staple of the new site.

For individuals who want to know more about granite fabrication, they can go to the "Fabrication Process" page and watch step-by-step videos inside Fox's fabrication shop. Fox wants consumers to know exactly what to expect before hiring them. The granite business is full of unprofessional companies with many horror stories, so it's especially important to allow the consumer an accurate glimpse inside your company before they have to make an expensive decision. That's another reason why Fox put so much time into designing a functional granite slab gallery displaying the most popular granite colors. As a consumer, you can go to the site and see what a full 6 x 10 foot slab looks like as well as how it looks in an actual kitchen in their portfolio section. It's not always easy to go back to a project to shoot high-resolution photos, but Fox leads the industry with over 60 photos and is committed to posting over 200 photos over the course of 2013.
