NAPLES, ITALY, October 19, 2010 (Press-News.org) A production of the Queen musical We Will Rock You will be performed in Naples later this year.
Guests at Naples hotels can go and see this hugely entertaining piece between December 2nd and 5th 2010.
It is full of recognisable songs by the influential pop group Queen, who boasted the vocal talents of Freddie Mercury and guitar magic of Brian May to help them create some of the most memorable tunes of the past few decades.
This back catalogue - naturally - features the song We Will Rock You, which is where this musical takes its name.
Queen fans will be singing along from start to finish during the performance, but the message of the production will surely be appreciated by all music enthusiasts and people who enjoy the fruits of artistic expression.
The story is set in a dystopian future in which individual creativity is discouraged, but one man rises above it all to bring back rock'n'roll with the help of a fair few classic tracks.
We Will Rock You was written by comedian and author Ben Elton alongside Brian May and Queen drummer Roger Taylor, so purists can be sure that it has the seal of approval from the artists who penned the songs.
Showtimes vary depending on the day and admission costs between EUR27 (GBP23.60) and EUR55 plus booking fees.
For more information on this event visit the Palapartenope website or contact the venue on +39 081 570 0008.
