CAI Announces January 2013 Seminar And Development Programs In Raleigh

- "Ask The Expert: Changes To The Federal Rules Related To Background Screening" is a one-day, complimentary members-only program during which CAI's private investigator, Kevin von der Lippe, will discuss the federal laws that surround background checks and the changes that members should be prepared to handle. The program will focus on changes to the paperwork needed to comply with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and the steps needed to adhere to federal laws before and after background checks. Additionally, participants will spend time discussing the recent changes sparked by the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission guidance for background checks and will learn ways in which to avoid instances of discrimination.
