Finally! Fabulous Fashion Footwear in Sizes 9 to 13: Chic and Elegant Zofie Shoes Launches its Online Inagural Collection at Zofie Shoes.com

What do Michelle Obama, Milla Jovovich, Oprah, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kate Winslet all have in common?

2013-01-09
CHICAGO, IL, January 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) Besides being their own tour-de-force style mavens as well as successful, beautiful women, they all wear shoes sized between nine and thirteen. "It's traditionally a neglected size run," says Anna Pater, Chicago native and founder/designer of Zofie Shoes (www.zofieshoes.com). Pater understands that when it comes to elegant footwear for women, size should not be a problem, and with a full collection of fashion savvy shoes in larger sizes, Zofie Shoes seeks to remedy this hole in the marketplace.

Zofie Shoes is celebrating its "start of a New Year" online inaugural launch showcasing Pater's design debut. The Inaugural Collection, featuring six signature styles, is beautifully crafted in Brazil and inspired by the season's color palette of fuchsia, emerald green and metallic color palette along with the traditional black and neutral . From the exquisite Adelia, a black patent leather three-inch heel rounded almond-toe pump to the beautiful Lucia, a Pink Marbella peep-toe platform hand-dyed with a unique combination of metallic hues in blue, green, fuchsia and gold, and the super chic Beatriz, a stiletto-styled slim-heeled bootie in a choice of 3 different two-tone leathers. Each style is carefully crafted with a chic and modern wearer in mind. Many boast a lower heel, which is not often available in the marketplace and more importantly for larger sizes.

According to Pater, whose career has been as a management consultant in the health care industry before starting Zofie Shoes, "there's something for everyone in my debut collection from the basic kitten heel done in neutrals to bolds to platforms and flats."

"My shoes all have very subtle and refined detail that is designed to add that extra touch to any outfit," says Pater. "The collection is elegant and bold without being over-the-top. They're also designed to provide an elegant low to mid-height heel for larger sizes, allowing women with a larger foot-size to feel empowered one beautiful step at a time."

Pater added that her company's name "Zofie" is not only her mother's nickname, "fitting," as Pater explains because her mother was an amazing seamstress and the foundation of Anna's Fashion I.Q. But also the name Zofie means "wisdom" in many languages. Likewise, each of Pater's signature shoe styles has a unique meaning representing the good will inspiration behind each design; the noble and kind Adelia, the graceful Graca and Beatriz, the joyful voyager, among others.

In the future Zofie Shoes will be available in full size runs from five and one-half to thirteen, but for now Pater plans to design and manufacture for her market inspiration, women with a larger foot sizes. With this inaugural line Pater has specifically set-out to enhance these women's lives and wardrobes - one step at a time
