2013-01-09
HAIKU, HI, January 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) Healing Waters Sanctuary, an alternative healing center located in Maui, Hawaii, has announced Level 1 training, Essence. The training as an integrative healing modality will be held February 15 - 18, 2013 in Haiku, Hawaii with a clinic following on February 19, 2013.

Expand your horizons of this integrative healing modality with Level 1 Essence Training in Craniosacral Aquatica. This healer training was first developed and used in Brazil under the supervision of Andy Marcus, Maui healing practitioner. The basis of essence is one that applies to anyone working with massage therapy or alternative healing. It allows one to make deeper connections to the core of the client. This includes understanding the connection to aquatic work as well as developing an awareness and perspective toward the client while being present and neutral during a healing session. Marcus specifically works with modalities of the breath, water and Craniosacral therapies for this connection.

The training for healers and this integrative healing modality is inclusive of the role of the healing practitioner when practicing Craniosacral Aquatica or other healing modalities. To learn about this role, students will practice with demonstrations and exercises on land and in the water. The approach will be inclusive of authentic movement and remaining in a neutral state to guide and heal the client. The training will also include connecting to the breath, understanding qualities of the water and how it is used for healing, how to connect to the fluidity of the body, supporting someone in the water and combining Craniosacral and Aquatic Therapies as an integrative modality for healing.

The training for healers will not only offer this integrative healing modality as a practice for any type of healer. It will also assist those that are interested in learning about self - care or the philosophies of alternative healing. The training is open to anyone who is interested in learning about the modality of Craniosacral Aquatica.

The innovation of Craniosacral Aquatica is an integrative healing modality is one that Marcus has developed through time. This is based on his practice in Watsu, Aquatic Therapies, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and a study of other modalities. This modality works with the water becoming the supportive element for healing while Craniosacral Therapy. This combination is known to assist with healing deeper traumas and wounds, including imprints from the womb that many carry throughout their lives.

The first training for healers is limited to 4 - 6 people and will take place in Haiku, Hawaii. Subsequent trainings will be offered either monthly or bi - monthly. If you would like to pre-register for this course, then please visit Healing Waters Sanctuary.

Healing Waters Sanctuary offers healing sessions for Craniosacral Therapy and Aquatic Therapies. These combine together for a unique and integrative healing modality.
