Lynda Buckley is the newest member of MyBinding.com's increasing team of local employees.

2013-01-10
HILLSBORO, OR, January 10, 2013 (Press-News.org) MyBinding.com, an Oregon-based Internet retailer, continues to boost the area's economy with regular hiring. Lynda Buckley, a Portland native, was recently added to their accounting department. Buckley is one of many new hires to join the growing staff of local professionals.

Buckley is settling into her role as a sales and invoice clerk in the accounting department. As a clerk, she is responsible for processing orders and taking the necessary information to the warehouse for shipping. Buckley has an aptitude for accounting, one of the reasons she was excited to have landed at MyBinding after a two-year hiatus from the workforce.

"I've always enjoyed accounting and I work really well with numbers," said Buckley.

A born and bred Oregon native, Buckley has been a part of this community her entire life. While earning a science degree from Portland State University, she learned a variety of skills that will be an asset to the MyBinding accounting team. Buckley's technical writing abilities were honed for 14 years as part of a team of administrative professionals at OHSU. Her manager, Nancy Murphy, is excited to put Lynda's skills to use for their team.

"Lynda has many years of experience in technical writing which I would like to put to use creating flow charts and procedure manuals," said Murphy. "Her knowledge of accounting and maintaining customer accounts fits right in to the order entry/invoicing department."

Murphy also noted, "Lynda has a very positive and strong energy which can only be an asset to our MyBinding.com family."

With a cheerful smile and local roots, Buckley is a natural fit for MyBinding.com, who also has deep ties to the community. She is quick to offer a smile and finds her work environment friendly and helpful. These traits along with her technical knowledge lead to a promising future.
