Her expertise includes assisting in the formation of new franchise companies, extensive work with production and revision of Franchise Disclosure Documents and Franchise Agreements, and assisting in the process of registering Franchisors to offer and sell franchises in accordance with state and federal law nationwide, all of which has aptly prepared her for her new role at Pop Weight Loss. Professionally, she is affiliated with some of the top franchise associations, including the International Franchise Association, American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, and the Women's Caucus of the ABA Forum on Franchising, to name a few.

Receiving her undergraduate from Bucknell University, double majoring in International Relations and Russian with a minor in Economics, and receiving her law degree at Rutgers, Tomlin has always had a personal interest in healthy living and fitness.

"As an avid runner and rower, I believe that proper nutrition and fitness gives us, as people, the tools to be better and more productive members of society by providing us clearer thinking, a sense of comfort in any setting, and the ability to accomplish goals that unhealthy lifestyles might have prevented us from achieving," explains Tomlin. Inspired by her father who spent time within the Peace Corps, Tomlin has always felt a desire to do more. As a member of AmeriCorps's "City Year" program, Tomlin spent 10 months working with 8th grade math and science students within an underprivileged school district in Philadelphia and got a first-hand look at how poor nutrition and fitness can affect a student's performance within the classroom.
