RALEIGH, NC, January 12, 2013 (Press-News.org) ABC11 Eyewitness News (http://www.abc11.com) is the official media partner for the 2013 North Carolina Governor's Inaugural Ball, hosted by the Junior League of Raleigh. Live coverage will begin on Eyewitness News on Friday, Jan. 11 at 4 p.m. Then, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, ABC11.com will offer exclusive LIVE streaming of the Gala Presentation, which will take place at the Raleigh Convention Center. ABC11 Eyewitness News anchors Steve Daniels and Tisha Powell will serve as masters of ceremonies for this hour-long celebratory event. The Governor's Inaugural Ball will follow the presentation from 9 p.m. until midnight. Live reports will occur on Eyewitness News at 10 p.m. on CW 22 and on Eyewitness News at 11 p.m. on ABC11.
Beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, ABC11 will provide live coverage, as well as a live video stream on ABC11.com, of the inauguration events at the State Capitol, including Governor Pat McCrory's swearing-in ceremony, his Inaugural Address and the Inaugural Parade. ABC11 Eyewitness News anchors Larry Stogner, Steve Daniels and Tisha Powell will report on the day's ceremonies and celebrations. In addition, ABC 11 will provide viewers with exclusive coverage inside the Governor's Ball in an Eyewitness News Special on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. This special will be hosted by ABC11 Eyewitness News 4 p.m. anchors Fred Shropshire and Anna Laurel and will feature highlights of all the inaugural events.
