DALLAS, TX, January 12, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Family Law firm of McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P., is proud to announce the promotion of Amber Liddell Alwais to partner in the firm's San Antonio office.
"Amber is a key member of this firm and a leader in the San Antonio Family Law community," says Mike McCurley, a name partner in the firm. "We are very proud that she has accepted this new position, which speaks to her incredible work ethic and proven legal abilities."
Ms. Liddell Alwais' Family Law practice is focused on traditional and non-traditional divorce, custody issues, property division, child support and adoption matters. She is the current vice president of the San Antonio Bar Association Family Law section, and also serves as a Family Law, Probate Law and Criminal Law instructor at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
She previously was selected to the Texas Rising Stars listing for three consecutive years, and earned three selections to the list of San Antonio's Top Attorneys published by Scene in S.A. Magazine. In 2003, she was named Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year by the Women's Bar Association of Bexar County.
Ms. Liddell Alwais is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She earned her law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1996 after earning her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in 1993 from Sam Houston State University.
With offices in Dallas and San Antonio, McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P., is one of the largest firms in Texas specializing solely in Family Law.
