Garner Chamber Welcomes Eight Board Members

Eight Board Members Began Terms Oct. 1

GARNER, NC, October 20, 2010

The Garner Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of eight members to its Board of Directors. The directors were introduced at the Chamber's Annual Meeting and Banquet on Sept. 30 at the Grand Marquise Ballroom and began their terms Oct. 1.

The Chamber's Board of Directors and staff are pleased to welcome the following board members:

Paula Anderson - owner, Southern Cruise Connections

Mark Berube - business operations process analyst, Progress Energy

Chris Bruffey - senior vice president, Garner market executive, North State Bank

Rodney Ford - vice president, business lender, Four Oaks Bank

Josh Hammond - sales representative, Waste Industries

Suzy Phillips - owner, International Minute Press

Linda Powell - realtor/broker/owner, Powell Realty and Klassy Kids Child Enrichment Center

Amy White - director of development, Community of Hope Ministries

"This is a very diverse group that includes new and returning board members," said Neal Padgett, president of the Garner Chamber. "I'm sure they will each contribute from their experience and knowledge base to propel the Chamber to new levels of success."
