BROOKLYN, NY, January 30, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Writing Whisperer is partnering with women-owned small businesses across the United States, coaching and teaching them how to be heard in the business marketplace, through the art of storytelling.
The Writing Whisperer offers coaching, copywriting, and live training sessions for small businesses. Owner M. Shannon Hernandez works closely with women entrepreneurs, teaching them how to ensure their companies are noticed through effective business writing and content marketing.
According to the Center for Women's Business Research 2009 Report, 10.1 million firms are women owned, and the number of women start-up companies doesn't seem to be dwindling. In order to be heard in a such a noisy marketplace, entrepreneurs must know how to effectively capture their audiences through the language they use when marketing their products and services. Whether the words are being used for website copy, marketing materials, or live workshops and events, Hernandez will teach women how to capture their unique audience and convey their brand's message.
Shannon Hernandez brings a unique perspective to the business marketplace. With 15 years experience in teaching written and oral communication skills, Hernandez knows the power words possess. She will coach women entrepreneurs to "Tell; Donʼt Sell" when writing for their businesses.
"Regardless of age, gender, culture, or economic status, we are all connected through stories. When a business uses storytelling to tell about its products and services, the results are widespread. Prospective clients want to know how the product or service being offered will solve their problems. They also want to trust the businesses they will be patronizing. What better way to deliver all of these necessary aspects, than through storytelling?" Shannon Hernandez stated.
The "Tell; Don't Sell" program consists of business writing workshops, trainings, speaking engagements, private coaching services, tele-seminars, and women-only retreats. The flexibility in formats and variety of trainings ensures that each woman can choose the exact topics of interest which will benefit her business the most.
The Writing Whisperer will hold its official launch party at the historic Akwaaba Mansion in Brooklyn, New York, on the evening of February 9, 2013. Clients, business associates, and friends and family will gather for an evening of cocktails and live jazz.
