Concurrency Consultants Nathan Lasnoski, Shannon Fritz and Annur Sumar Named 2013 Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals

Three Concurrency, Inc. consultants were designated Microsoft MVPs this month. The awards are based on deep commitment to helping others make the most of their technology and sharing real-word knowledge of Microsoft products with the community.

BROOKFIELD, WI, January 31, 2013 (Press-News.org) Concurrency, Inc., the 2012 Microsoft Central Region Partner of the Year, announced today that employees Nathan Lasnoski, Shannon Fritz, and Annur Sumar have each been awarded "Most Valuable Professional" status by Microsoft Corporation. Of more than 100 million active social and technical community members, Microsoft awards only approximately 4,000 MVPs each year. Concurrency's winners were among only 943 worldwide to be recognized this quarter.

Nathan Lasnoski, Concurrency's Infrastructure Practice Lead and a four-year Microsoft MVP, received the "Virtual Machine MVP" Award for 2013. Shannon Fritz earned the "Enterprise Security MVP" Award, his second straight year as a Microsoft MVP. Annur Sumar, a three-time MVP Award recipient, received the "Cluster MVP" Award.

Microsoft rigorously evaluates candidates for their technical expertise, community leadership, and voluntary community contributions for the previous year. Technical blogging is among the forms of knowledge-sharing considered by the Microsoft awards panel. Concurrency's winners maintain blogs hosted at http://blog.concurrency.com.
