Last night the Cool Chain Excellence Awards were presented before an audience of key figures in the global supply chain. The awards were part of the 12th annual Cool Chain Logistics Europe 2013 summit held in Basel, Switzerland.
Awards were presented in the following categories: Best Temperature Control Logistics Project of the Year, Best Supply Chain Integrity Innovator of the Year and the prestigious Cold Chain IQ Lifetime Achievement Award.
Following deliberation by the expert judging panel, Best Temperature Control Logistics Project of the Year was awarded to Frigo Trans (http://www.frigo-trans.eu/) and FedEx (http://www.fedex.com/) were named Best Supply Chain Integrity Innovator of the Year.
The Cold Chain IQ Lifetime Achievement Award went to Al Davis, Supply Chain Temperature Control Leader, Johnson and Johnson.
