Daltrey and fellow bandmate Pete Townshend were inspired to create Teen Cancer America after nearly a decade of passionate service to the United Kingdom's Teenage Cancer Trust. Having previously worked with Teenage Cancer Trust in the UK for the past seven years, Webb has been appointed to Teen Cancer America's founding board. She will serve an integral role in guiding the charity and supporting national cancer awareness and education.

Through a strong commitment to Teen Cancer America, Webb aims to help ignite a movement that bridges the gap between cancer awareness and treatment, generating action on behalf of the teenagers fighting this disease. The Special Event Company demonstrated this commitment through the management of Teen Cancer America's official launch at a National Press Club luncheon on Nov. 12. The sold-out event included an in-depth question and answer session with Daltrey and Townshend, as well as an emotional address from cancer survivor Sarah Sterner.
