The Grand Opening at Trees' newest location at 2655 Arbutus St. near West Broadway officially doesn't happen until Thursday, February 7 - but the neighbourhood has already sent out the welcome wagon. "The response has been amazing and we're so grateful," says Arbutus Trees Organic store manager Phil Jackson. "We've had a soft launch and a lot of our from our Granville, Yaletown or Gastown cafes have been by to tell us how happy they are to have us right around the corner."
At the newest location, patrons will find the fresh-roasted, great-tasting organic coffee they already love, along with Trees Organic's famous cheesecake, delicious lunch menu, pastries and snacks and exotic teas.
For the Grand Opening, the cafe will also be offering free coffee and cheesecake samples, prizes and special deals. "And for those bloggers, tweeters or just plain curious locals who want to learn more about coffee or the roasting process, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will look forward to welcoming you," Phil says.
