CASTAGNOLE DELLE LANZA, ITALY, February 06, 2013 (Press-News.org) In November 2012 Urschel International Limited Italy celebrated its opening by hosting an official ceremony. The event came almost a year after the company first opened for business and was attended by guests as diverse as Urschel customers, local dignitaries, and management from both Urschel Corporate and Urschel International.
Castagnole delle Lanza Mayor Marco Violardo presided over the official ribbon cutting using a golden TranSlicer slicing knife, specifically manufactured in honor of the event. After the ribbon cutting, local clergy led an invocation. Marco Cortese, Urschel Italy Sales Manager, was then awarded a plaque commemorating the new office presented by Tim O'Brien, Vice President of Sales.
"Thank you to all of the Urschel customers for participating in this event. The Urschel Italy office continues to set new sales records, and we are looking forward to many more successful years," stated Tim O'Brien.
Tours of the office were given and Urschel cutting equipment was displayed including the new AFFINITY large dicer. Many cutting demonstrations were featured. Refreshments and specialty gift baskets were given to all attendees. The event presented a unique opportunity to see the vast array of Urschel cutting equipment up close.
