TAMPA, FL, October 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) A $10,000.00 reward is being offered for information leading to the whereabouts of the body of Jack Donald Lewis, of Big Cat Rescue. The case is concerning former CEO of Big Cat Rescue, Jack Donald Lewis, known also as "Don." A wealthy millionaire suddenly went missing just days after filing a protective order against his then-wife,Carol Lewis (now Baskin). The case of his disappearance is filed with the Hillsborough County Sherriff's Department, # 97-069-358.
Jack Donald Lewis disappeared in 1997, and soon after his Last Will and Testament as well as his Durable Power of Attorney turned up, naming Carole his benefactor and managing conservator of his entire estate (valued at more than $4 million). His three daughters were excluded from these documents. On Thursday, January 19th of 2006, a witness to his will testified and signed a police affidavit saying that she, in fact, never witnessed the will being signed -- the witness stated that Carole forged her name as a witness to Don's will and that she "was told by Carole to appear in court and say the signature was in fact her own." The witness admitted to committing perjury out of fear of Carole.
Two other grown men have sought out protection orders against Carole as she is known for violence and threatening the lives of the people that fight against her cause.
More evidence exists that supports the theory of foul play -- so why was the case abandoned so readily? Some speculate that it was pushed to the wayside by the Sheriff's department, as Carole has a relative within the organization.
The police received a few tips as to Don's possible whereabouts, locations varied, from Costa Rica, to the cat's bellies. One of Don's daughters told police to "check the meat grinder for human DNA." Another eerie possibility, records show that a new septic tank was installed at the couple's wildlife zoo the day after Don was last seen and now has a Mountain Lion cage built on top of it.
911AnimalAbuse.org asserts that Carole Lewis, now Baskin, is the current CEO of Big Cat Rescue of Tampa, Florida. She works non stop and spends tens of thousands of donated dollars meant for the animals to slander and defame any competition to donations for her park, even resorting to twisting facts, half-truths, and in some cases outright lies to further her agenda and win people to her cause.
In an effort to determine why legislators and government organizations support her tireless slander campaigns without reprimand, 911AnimalAbuse.org has started their own investigation and will, in fact, willingly give $10,000 to anyone whose information leads to the discovery of the truth behind Don's disappearance and the closure of the Hillsborough cold case on the matter of where or what happened to Don's body.
Anyone willing to add to the sum of the reward can contact 911animalabuse.org and remain anonymous with the amount they wish to add to the total of the reward.
They can be reached at http://911AnimalAbuse.org contact page.
911animalabuse.org is a volunteer-based organization dedicated in stopping the discredit of exotic pet owners and zoos worldwide.
