NORCROSS, GA, February 13, 2013 (Press-News.org) Visix is honored to receive two AVA Digital Awards for interactive wayfinding designs. Cyrus Nelson, Visix Creative Content Artist, has received a Platinum Award for his Old Dominion University design. Dwayne Johnson, Visix Creative Content Artist, has received a Gold Award for San Diego Miramar College wayfinding. Both designs were created for higher education clients currently using AxisTV - Visix's flagship digital signage content management software application.
"We're thrilled that our designers have been recognized by AVA," says Jill Perardi, Creative Services Project Manager for Visix. "We've continued to build both our team and our creative offerings in the last 12 months, and will continue to expand aggressively over the next two years."
AVA recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
There were about 2,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries in the 2013 competition. Winners were selected from over 200 categories in Audio, Video, and Web-based production. About 14% of the entries won the Platinum Award, the organizations top honor. About 17% were Gold winners.
