North Suburban Medical Center Debuts Deluxe Post-Operative Healing Suites

Hospital opens 4 North Suites to enhance non-emergency post-operative patient recovery

THORNTON, CO, February 13, 2013 (Press-News.org) Today, North Suburban Medical Center opened 4 North Suites, an all-private, amenity-rich, post-operative unit. The area includes 10 private recovery suites for patients to heal and recuperate after a scheduled surgery.

4 North Suites creates an intimate, healing environment for post-operative patients and visiting families. The design includes luxurious wood finishes and softer colors to promote healing. The unit also features a comfortable family waiting area with a full refreshment center.

"We want to provide a better, more relaxing environment for our scheduled surgical patients. This unit offers a design that promotes healing for the patient and comfort for visiting family," said Jennifer Alderfer, CEO of North Suburban Medical Center. "4 North Suites will help us better serve our medical staff and our patients."

The private suites serve patients recovering from a variety of surgeries including spine surgery, orthopedic surgery, gynecological surgeries, total hip replacements and other general procedures that may require slightly longer recovery times.

4 North Suites is on the fourth floor of the North Suburban Medical Center and has been under construction since November of last year.

"Comfort is an important part of the healing process. It is our goal to provide the best care possible for our patients. From the medical staff to the soothing color of the floor tiles, we gave thought to every detail of 4 North Suites' design," said Alderfer.
