Charlene Burke to teach Business Owners about Online Marketing and Sales Professionals About Social Media for Business Development

GearUp! With More Power is a day of workshops for business owners and sales professionals. These workshops will be focused on teaching the small to medium enterprise how to use traditional and online marketing methods as part of their marketing efforts, and sales professionals will learn online and offline networking techniques that will help them fill their pipeline and close more sales.

The workshops will take place on March 6, 2013, at the Kentucky International Convention Center. There will be a morning session of four workshops for Business Owners, followed by an afternoon session for Sales Professionals. Each session will be interactive and provide actionable takeaways for participants. Workshop presenters include: Charlene Burke of Search by Burke, Christy Smallwood and John Zeydel of Arkham Executive, Michael Andover of WAVE3 News.

These experienced entrepreneurs and sales trainers will enlighten newcomers, or misinformed businesses, on the power of messaging and the use of marketing using television, radio and digital media platforms, which is invaluable advice for the growth of any enterprise. CEO of Search by Burke, and online marketing expert Charlene Burke, will be focusing her portion of the workshops on the specific needs of the Business Owner and Sales Professional in Louisville, KY.

As Charlene Burke puts it:

"Past participants in my workshops walk in with very little knowledge or experience with online marketing or social media - and they walk out able to put the tactics they learn to use right away. I hear from sales professionals regularly, thanking me for showing them how to use LinkedIn"

The two workshops will be organized as follows:

Business Owners: Charlene will focus this workshop on the proper organization of an online marketing plan, and how to subsequently execute it. It will start with a general overview of current online marketing practices and how its aspects and components can be flawlessly integrated and used for business promotion. Those taking part will be asked to formulate an online marketing plan which is appropriate to their own venture and it becomes a working document for them to take to the office for completion.

Sales Professionals: Charlene will focus this workshop on social media for business development. Sales professionals will learn about various platforms for reputation management, and delve into LinkedIn specifically for business development. Connecting with others, nurturing relationships, and creating sales leads that turn into sales will be the takeaways for the participants.
