PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, February 20, 2013 (Press-News.org) New kids app startup EMTC Edu has announced plans to release two learning games. Both games aim to provide great entertainment and support child development.
EMTC Edu thinks differently about education. The company's whole approach stems from the idea that young children are naturally fascinated by the world around them - that children want to start learning so they can understand all the strange sights and sounds they meet every day. The most effective applications tap into this insatiable curiosity and direct it in ways that will help kids develop important cognitive and physical skills.
To realize this idea EMTC-Edu has drawn together a highly talented group of artists and technicians. Each illustrator is encouraged to be true to their own unique style, their only directive is to craft beautiful scenes and interesting characters. The graphics department focusses on adding animation and sounds that accentuate the illustrators' work. This combination creates vibrant, original visuals unlike anything on the learning app market. In the next few weeks, two games designed using this approach will be available for download on Google Play and iTunes.
Happy Dots is the classic Connect-the-dots game re-imagined for mobile. At the heart of the game is a selection of bright, lively images and animations. Instead of joining the dots to create a single image, in Happy Dots each image is one component of a larger scene. The goal is to familiarize children with how objects and animals fit into and interact with their environment, and begin to introduce shape concepts, spatial learning and image and sound recognition. Happy Dots is ideal for children aged 2+.
Zoo Time is a great way for kids to start finding out about the animal kingdom. There are a variety of islands to choose from and each one is jam-packed with cute critters. You just tap the images to hear the animals make their natural sounds. In terms of skills Zoo Time focusses on visual perception, attention and cognitive and sensory development. Unusually for the learning market, Zoo Time is targeted towards very young children aged 1+.
EMTC Edu is built on a rock-solid foundation as a subsidiary of a leading Czech marketing company EMTC - Czech a.s.. With nine years of growth and success in the Czech Republic they're the perfect parent company for a talented team of developers, graphic designers, sound technicians, and illustrators.
