The program has been updated to ensure graduates are prepared to pass the new CompTIA A+ certification exams, which were released in October 2012.

"Employers are looking for CompTIA A+ certified technicians, and preparing students to earn that credential key to helping them succeed in the workforce," said Career Step Vice President of Academics Jerolyn Carter. "With the release of the updated CompTIA A+ exams, we have updated our training program to ensure our students are gaining the knowledge and skills needed to earn their CompTIA A+ certification and be competitive in the workforce."

The updated Career Step Computer Technician program encompasses all of the technical requirements covered by the CompTIA A+ certification.
