2013-02-20
PITTSBURGH, PA, February 20, 2013 (Press-News.org) Advantage Consumer Credit Counseling Service is pleased to announce that they are recently licensed and approved to provide free consumer credit counseling services along with debt management services in Oregon. Advantage CCS is a qualified and reputable Non-Profit consumer credit counseling agency that helps individuals from all walks of life by providing free credit counseling, a wonderful debt management program, bankruptcy education courses, bankruptcy counseling, and much more. Advantage CCS has been helping consumers with their financial issues since 1968.

Consumers who are besieged by their debt should understand that they are not alone and there is help out there. With the prevalence of debt hardship in America today, Advantage CCS offers free confidential advice through credit counseling and they work with you to help you move toward a debt-free way of life. Advantage Credit Counseling Service is now able to provide these same expert services to consumers living in the state of Oregon who are having trouble handling their personal finances.

Credit counseling and debt management services allow individuals to work with a certified credit counselor who will guide and teach the consumer how to manage a monthly budget. Customer service representatives within the agency will work with the creditors to discuss modified monthly payment plans that work for the consumer. The proposals that are sent out to the creditors must be approved by both the debtor and the creditor before the individual can be accepted onto the debt management program. There are certain guidelines and rules that are already set that the credit counseling agency must follow when dealing with creditors. If a proposal gets accepted, that means lower interest rates and no creditor fees for the consumer, in most cases, and this will ultimately help the consumer pay off the total debt at a much faster rate.
