WHO: This Way to the Egress is an engine that pumps energy into their music that Spike Jones and his City Slickers would have been proud of. With a firm musical base of ol' timey roots, they branch out weaving elements of klezmer, balkan, American blues, ragtime, swing, and punk rock into whiskey-soaked melodies, upbeat rhythms, and infectious refrains. All the while they fuse eclectic sounds with visual antics such as confetti snow storms, tuba farts, and puppetry. In the process, Egress creates a modern slant on the good old days of Vaudeville and presents a performance unlike any other in their genre."Tyrant Taylor: Front man and accordion reveling extraordinaire! Past street performer to present stage stomper!
Saddle Sarah: Piano plunker and expert ivory tickler. Egress' very own resident artist, musical arranger, & songstress.
Mischief M@: drummer god of the north. Mischievous rhythms and synced up beats are his expertise.
John "Toobie do" Wentz: Resident Tuba player, Toobie Do comes from the far away land of Brooklyn, NY. Weaving his brass bass melodies into the open arms of Egress tunes.
Jaclyn "the" Kidd: Jaclyn comes from a long line of string spinsters. Crafting wooden instruments by day, and playing for EGRESS by ways of banjo & Mandolin by night.
Joe "bone" Lynch: Joe is our principal trombone player (and our only one!) who certainly puts his bone into his trombone, Napoleon.
