An appointment with Bormioli Rocco, at the Salone del Gusto in Turin

From 21 to 25 October the group will participate in the event organised by Slow Food, in its double role as exhibitor - at Pavilion 2, Stand M134 - and technical sponsor.

2010-10-23
PARMA, ITALY, October 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) The eighth edition of the Salone del Gusto will focus on the theme of food and its territories: the things we eat, after all, are expressions of the earth, the climate and the abilities of the people who cultivate them. This year's Slow Food gathering will be held in Turin from the 21st to the 25th of October, and Bormioli Rocco will participate as both sponsor and exhibitor.

The company will supply the glass tumblers and the wine tasting glasses for the Taste Workshops and Theatres, namely the spaces where wine producers, experts and distinguished chefs accompany the public in the sensorial and intellectual experience of food awareness.
The Theatres in particular are the ideal place for meeting Italian and International cooks, watch their dishes being prepared step by step and then... savour them. This year's Taste Workshops will have a special space dedicated to wine, with three wine tasting events led by famous sommeliers: Luca Gardini, Federico Graziani and Nadia Olivier Sinclair. Here Bormioli Rocco wine glasses will be at hand to enhance the experience: elegant, practical and able to bring out the best in the bouquets of whites, reds and roses.

During the Salone del Gusto, it will be possible to also visit the Bormioli Rocco stand, dressed to match the colours of the Multicolor collection's plates and glasses for the home, which bring a flourish of vivacity and conviviality to any table.
Among the products on display will be the Frigoverre Fun glass food containers, available in pale blue, green, orange and pink versions. Decorated with pastel-coloured floral motifs, they add a dash of energy to the fridge or to the cupboard shelves. Thanks to their exclusive lid-seal, the container tops adhere perfectly to the glass rims and guarantee optimal sealing performance: food remains fresh and no smells escape. Frigoverre Fun rhymes with versatility, because it can do its duty in the deep freeze, in the fridge and in the microwave oven, and then relax in the dishwater before returning with a shine to its shelf.
