Citrin Cooperman Launches New Brand to Reflect Breadth, Depth of Services of Services and Proactive Culture

Firm Evolves from Traditional Accounting Firm to a Dynamic Business Advisory Practice

PHILADELPHIA, PA, October 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) Citrin Cooperman & Company, LLP announced today that it has unveiled a new brand to better reflect the size and scope of the services offered to their client base. The new brand officially communicates how Citrin Cooperman has evolved to provide dynamic business advisory services to owners and entrepreneurs, to increase the value of their business and personal enterprises.

It is the first time in Citrin Cooperman's 30-year history that it has updated its brand. Citrin Cooperman commissioned a branding firm to work with its marketing department for this project. It was based on comprehensive research involving interviewing clients and referral sources over the last year to help guide the firm's new direction. In interviews, the themes of "dynamic," "energetic," and "not typical or expected from a CPA firm" emerged.

"The evolved brand is exemplified through our best-in-class professional advice, our full range of services offered, and our energetic and dynamic culture that influences how we approach each project," said Joel Cooperman, the firm's co-founder and managing partner. "It reflects our commitment to our clients' success through more than just accounting, audit and tax services. Over the years, we've embraced the challenge of proactively helping clients grow in meaningful ways, and we feel our new brand reflects that."

The new brand more accurately portrays the firm from a client service, growth and culture standpoint. A new logo, redesigned and updated website, internal and external communications, mission statement and guiding business principles were created as a result. To communicate the new brand, Citrin Cooperman produced a video which is available on the firm's website. Print ads announcing the new brand will appear in business publications throughout the Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey markets.

Citrin Cooperman was co-founded in 1979 by Philadelphia native, Joel Cooperman and his colleague Niles Citrin, and grew steadily and primarily organically for its first 20 years. During the last 11 years, the firm has gone from $18 million to more than $90 million in revenue, and ranks among the top 35 firms in the United States. Through internal growth and business combinations, the firm now has five offices in four states including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, 325 employees including 85 partners, and services that range from attest and assurance to wealth management which was added in 2008, SEC Solutions Group, LLC which was added in 2009; and State and Local Tax (SALT) division the Private Client Group which was formalized in 2010.
