Urban Fashion Awards Tour Shines The Light On The Industry With A 23 City U.S. Tour

UFW will launch the NEXT N LINE TOUR this fall to present the best in fashion, music, and the urban culture.

ATLANTA, GA, August 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) The bright lights, shining stars, undeniable beauty, and fabulous fashion experience that has become a staple in the urban fashion market will be presented to the masses at the first annual Urban Fashion Awards Tour. For the last ten years UFW founder, Billy D. Foster, has exhibited the best that the booming urban fashion market has to offer with the unique URBAN FASHION WEEK events. The UFW has provided a platform for designers, and performers on both the mainstream and independent sides of the industry to display their talents to the world.

September 2010 will not only mark a change in season. It will mark a change in the way designers in this diverse market display current collections to consumers all across the country. The tour this year has been accurately titled the NEXT N LINE TOUR and will visit a total of 23 U.S. cities. Kicking off on September 3, 2010 in Birmingham,

Alabama the tour will travel through the deep south, on to the northeast, and end in the heart of the Mid-West. In each city UFW will present awards to individuals and companies that have provided tremendous assistances to the urban fashion industry. The award winners will show a variety of industry professionals. The UFW will honor street wear designers, couture designers, contemporary designers, hair stylist. make up artist, photographers, music video directors, and many other related fields.

The Urban Fashion Award Tour is more than just a runway show. This years NEXT N LINE TOUR will be a fantastic fashion experience replete with live performances from hot urban music artists Day 26, Young Berg, and will be headlined by Teairra Marie. The shows will also feature the hottest faces in the modeling industry and celebrity guest host, Reality TV Star "Unique" from VH1's For The Love Of Ray-J. UFW is also seeking upcoming local artists to open up the show in each city. Designers looking to expand their brand will have numerous opportunities to become a sponsor for each date.
