NEW YORK, NY, March 01, 2013

TheHub.fm will launch in beta on March 8th in Austin,Texas at the famed South By Southwest (SXSW ) Interactive and Music Conferences and Festivals. There, The Hub.fm's Founder and CEO Jonathan Block will be meeting with bands and their representatives and spreading the word about the new mobile platform for merchandise which is set to create a new precedent for the entertainment industry. Block will also be a featured speaker on mobile and social media strategies at Canadian Music Week in Toronto, March 19th-24th. TheHub.fm will officially launch in early June.

"Our solution guarantees bands will never miss a sale and fans won't wait in long lines," says Block, a New York City entrepreneur with over 32 years of music business experience. "With TheHub.fm fans easily browse merchandise and make purchases on their phones from anywhere in the venue then elect to pick up their items quickly or choose to have them shipped. Bands engage audiences with smarter technology that simplifies administration, collects their fan data and empowers them to sustain a happier, more loyal fan base."

Mr. Block was drawn to Kansas City by the mentorship of Think Big Partners and the remarkable potentials Google Fiber will offer. He has three decades of artist management experience and knows how hard the merchandise puzzle can be from the bands' perspective.

Think Big Partners selected Jonathan Block, a current partner at Adva Mobile , and founder of Major Hana Records, on the merits of his history in the music business and his vision for solving current challenges in the entertainment industry. Mr. Block was Vice President at AGF Entertainment, whose clients included Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin and Eric Anderson; he then founded Major Music, a management company known for establishing worldwide fan bases and significant revenue streams for artists including G. Love & Special Sauce, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Fred Wesley and The JB Horns.

"We like big ideas that solve real problems in big marketplaces," said Herb Sih, co-founder and managing partner at Think Big Partners. "Jonathan brings unique, compelling insight into the invisibly complex music industry and in creating a solution that will be extremely valuable to the world's most innovative business-minded music touring professionals."

Exclusive digital downloads and other features serve as sales incentives and provide data for future communications from the band, marketing and sales. TheHub.fm's data centers, powered by Google Fiber run at speeds over 100 times faster than the rest of the planet, giving the startup an added advantage over other services in the music space.
