Many Professionals Offer "Orthodontic Care" But What You Really Need is a "Specialist"

"A perfect smile makes you look good and feel good." Says Dr .Fernando Martinez, "Modern orthodontic treatment will not only improve your oral health but a winning smile carries social benefits at all ages and levels of society."

2013-03-02
CINCINNATI, OH, March 02, 2013 (Press-News.org) While it's true that the majority of orthodontic professionals can offer competent orthodontic care, only a specialist who is up-to-date on the leading orthodontic technology and techniques can offer you treatment that is faster, more efficient and more esthetically pleasing to meet your needs.

Dr. Fernando Martinez of Martinez Orthodontics knows that the only way to provide his patients 100% personalized service is to never stop learning. The treatment you desire is unique to you. Just like your smile. The sooner you are treated the easier it is to align your teeth and get your smile to where it should be. But no matter what your age, orthodontic treatment can benefit you. Thus, it's never too late to have the smile you always dreamed of. Thanks to modern orthodontic technology, when it comes to wearing braces, patients have more options than ever before.

Invisible

Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible to the naked eye: 3-D computer technology is used to create your customized aligners. After consulting with Dr. Martinez to determine what needs to be corrected, he take impressions of your teeth and sends them to Invisalign which then uses advanced computer technology to finely calibrate a sequence of aligners needed.

Depending on your treatment plan, this could mean as few as 10 or as many as 30 aligners. You'll wear each aligner for about two weeks, taking it out for eating, brushing, and flossing. As you replace each aligner with the next, your teeth gradually move into the final alignment prescribed by Dr Martinez.

Clear (Plastic)

Very popular with adults due to their cosmetic appeal in addition to being less conspicuous, Dr. Martinez offers clear plastic braces. The plastic brackets are made of a composite material that is translucent as well as stain and wear resistant.  Comments Dr. Martinez, "Unlike ceramic brackets that can fracture the enamel when removed, plastic brackets are removed similar to metal brackets". Also, plastic brackets do not wear the enamel of opposing teeth like ceramic brackets.

Metal

Metal braces have become much smaller since the earlier days of orthodontics.  The micro-arch braces used at Martinez Orthodontics facilitate hygiene and minimize patient discomfort from irritation. Nickel titanium wires placed in the braces are super-elastic and allow for easier alignment of crowded teeth with less discomfort.

Gold

Wildly popular with patients of all ages. Talk about a million-dollar smile: gold braces are made of stainless steel and coated with 24-karat gold.

Now is the Time

Let modern orthodontic technology works its magic on you smile. Personalized care just doesn't get any better. Dr. Martinez and his staff will work with you from start to finish ensuring that your orthodontic care is convenient and hassle-free.
