Assuria announces North American Release of New CyberSense Enterprise Scanner Product

International cyber-security vendor Assuria has released its new CyberSense Enterprise Scanner solution to the North and South American Markets in a effort to bring enterprise level cyber defence solutions to the widest possible audience.

2013-03-04
OSHAWA, ON, March 04, 2013 (Press-News.org) CyberSense Enterprise Scanner (CyberSense ES) is an intuitive web based enterprise security configuration assurance and policy compliance solution, which is easy to deploy and manage without specialist skills. CyberSense ES assesses the security state of IT systems and provides comprehensive plain language advice on fixing security flaws and removing compliance failures. It seamlessly manages agent and agent-less deep scanning, providing optimum operational flexibility bringing enterprise class security management to organizations of any size, even those with limited IT security skills or resources.

CyberSense ES is the first component of an integrated suite of next generation cyber security solutions to be launched under the CyberSense brand. This innovative software product (developed from over 20 years of top-level industry expertise), builds on the knowledge and pedigree of the company's existing Assuria Auditor solution, in use by hundreds of customers worldwide. CyberSense ES will fully support existing Assuria Auditor agents, allowing existing customers to continue with their Assuria installations while also taking advantage of the advanced operational, workflow and reporting features in CyberSense ES.

Assuria Auditor and Assuria Log Manager (Assuria's rapidly growing SIEM and Forensic Log Management solution) are used by a wide variety of commercial and public sector organizations, including numerous UK Government customers, where it has helped them to comply with the strict guidelines laid out in CESG's comprehensive Good Practice Guide Number 13, (GPG-13), the Protective Monitoring guide for UK public sector IT.

The news comes in the wake of a string of exciting developments from the Reading-based SME, which is currently making waves in one of the world's most competitive markets: featuring as a recommended tool on the EU's prestigious European Network & Information Security Agency site (ENISA) - a key "trendsetter" for European information-security, receiving the official lab-tested stamp of approval for the UK public sector, the CESG Claims Tested Mark (CCTM) certification, closing major deals with the likes of BAE Systems, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Labs and Gulf International Bank and supplying sensor technology to the SITC funded GBP1.7 million cyber security iGRC consortium project which is at the forefront of the Government's drive to protect Britain's critical information from cyber-attack.

Terry Pudwell, Chairman and joint founder of Assuria, said: "Our new CyberSense Enterprise Scanner solution builds on our teams near 20 year pedigree in developing and marketing IT security assessment, compliance and monitoring solutions. We have encapsulated all that vast experience into this new technology and, given how easy it is to deploy and use, we're particularly excited about the potential for mid-sized companies and also larger companies, which just don't have the IT security or systems management skills and resources normally needed to take advantage of such technology. We believe that CyberSense ES will make a real difference."
