Beatty has spent the last two years as the Director of Business Development with the Durham Chamber of Commerce. There, she consistently exceeded sales goals every month while integrating new strategies for member retention. The Chamber's Ambassador program flourished under her leadership, and strategic partnerships with local companies were developed to the benefit of the Chamber's 1,000 members. Prior, she held the position of Career Counselor at InStepp, Inc, a community-based non-profit company dedicated to empowering at-risk adult women and adolescent girls to succeed personally and professionally. Beatty holds a Masters-level certificate in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University.
