PARIS, FRANCE, October 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) The Paris Gay and Lesbian Film Festival is coming up this autumn and will offer travellers the chance to see some fascinating movies.
Described by What's on When as one of the best cinema events of its kind, the occasion will run from November 12th to 21st and see a variety of screenings take place at the Forum des Images in the French capital.
Guests at Paris hotels will also be able to take part in debates and see films that have won accolades in other international festivals, according to the travel listing site.
It will be the 16th edition of the event and the Paris Gay and Lesbian Film Festival has built up an excellent reputation during that time for the quality of cinema it shows and the issues it aims to tackle.
Up-and-coming filmmakers may be disappointed to hear that the deadline for submitting a movie was July 31st, but this should not stop them from attending the show and seeing what fellow artists are producing.
Tickets for individual screenings cost EUR5 (GBP4.40), although there are concessionary prices and multi-passes available as well.
Travellers who want to take the Metro to the Forum des Images should get off at Les Halles.
For more information on this event visit the Paris Gay and Lesbian Film Festival website or contact the venue on +33 (0)1 44 76 63 00.
