DURHAM, NC, October 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) BHDP Architecture has named Brandie G. Sweany, IIDA, LEED AP, to the position of Interior Designer in its Raleigh/Durham, N.C., office to support a growing client base in the East Coast region.
Sweany has more than ten years of professional experience, previously working with Little Diversified Architectural Consulting in Commercial Design. A graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design, she holds the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) as well as LEED accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Sweany brings a depth of experience in interior design skills, including conceptual design, spatial development, design development, finish selection and construction documentation and administration. Her project portfolio includes the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Corporate Facility (LEED certified) in Durham; the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Campus Commons Building in Durham; and the Cisco Systems Education & Development Center - Main Street facility in Research Triangle Park.
