TAMPA, FL, March 11, 2013 (Press-News.org) AAF Tampa Bay, an affiliate of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), held their annual ADDY awards on February 28th at the TECO Plaza and Tampa Theatre. During the competition, which awards excellence in advertising, eNox Media, a Tampa-based digital marketing agency, won a silver ADDY in the newly created "responsive web design" category. Sponsored by the non-profit AAF, the ADDY awards recognize those individuals and agencies who best exemplify "the highest creative standards in the industry." Having received a silver ADDY from the AAF Tampa Bay affiliate, eNox will have their winning design entered into the AAF regional chapter competition.
The silver ADDY was awarded to eNox in recognition of their work on a website for Inspire Entertainment, an entertainment and event planning agency. When accessed, the website automatically optimizes its layout according to the size of the viewing screen. This type of responsive web design is becoming increasingly important, as mobile web access is expected to surpass desktop access by 2015. In recognition of this growing importance, the AAF created the responsive web design category for their 2013 ADDY awards.
When asked about the award, Josh Walther, Inspire Entertainment owner and Event Solutions 2011 "Entertainer of the Year," said: "Having eNox Media design my new site was one of the smartest business decisions that I have made. It was important for us to have a site with a very personal feel, but still be able to compete on a national level. The site that eNox Media designed was absolutely perfect. The design and functionality that they created has not only increased our business, but placed us as a frontrunner for entertainment companies. Our company basically needed three completely different sites in one. eNox Media was able to create just that and integrate them seamlessly. I sincerely believe that it was because of our site, that we received a substantial amount of work for the Republican National Convention in 2012."
The winning team from eNox Media includes: Malcolm Bowen (Creative Director), Sara Hicks (Senior Designer), Nitin Sareen (Front-End Developer), and Jonathan Wilson (Project Manager).
